Hi, this topic is about some excellent drummers, I just want to give my modest opinion... for me, one of the greatest and the most versatil contemporary drummers is dennis chambers, he has a naturally way of playing, so comfortable and very enjoyable. Sometimes he executes big solos, but I preffer to keep it with the grooves he play... There are many other drummers I like... keith carlock, steve smith, rick latham (he has good drum methods)... I would like someone could give his/her opinion, jeje...

Hi jebkon, thanks for share that, yes, I've heard Al Foster, I like him with scofield in ScoLoHoFo, something like this, jeje. Nowadays I've listened Stanton Moore, nice funk grooves. What do you think about David Garibaldi, he also has good methods, hasn't he? I'm using one of them, it's nice.
